Ness's Nightmare is a boss in EarthBound, appearing in Ness's version of Magicant. Ness's Nightmare is a representation of the evil part of Ness's mind, and he must defeat it to overcome his evil side; appropriately, the sprite of this enemy is extremely similar to that of the Mani-Mani Statue. As a part of Ness, it has the ability to use PSI Rockin.

- The final battle with the Masked Man in Mother 3 has the same battle background as Ness's Nightmare.
- Giygas and Ness's Nightmare are the only enemies that know PSI Rockin.
