Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Super Smash Bros. Brawl, released 2008 for Wii, is the third and so far final game in the Super Smash Bros. series. It was one of the most anticipated games, mostly due to delays in its release. Super Smash Bros. Brawl was the first game in the series to feature non-Nintendo characters, namely Sonic and Snake.
Game modes
Super Smash Bros. Brawl featured many modes unavailable in the last two games, as well as those found in the two games. Classic mode, for example was kept. Adventure mode, however, was redesigned into a new adventure featuring way more than just one playable character, known as the Subspace Emissary. Also added was the ability to create one's own stages, known as Custom Stages. Another mode, known as Masterpieces, allowed players to play demos of games from previous systems. EarthBound was a demo in the Japanese version of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, however it was removed from the English version for unknown reasons.
Characters
In this game, there were 35 characters, with some characters from its prequel being removed. Two Earthbound characters were featured: Ness from Earthbound, and Lucas, a newcomer, from Mother 3.
