They can only be obtained through opening certain [[Present|presents]], so the amount of Capsules are limited.

Capsules will permanently increase a stat by 3 to 5 points. There are five different types of capsules, and a total of nine capsules, that can be found throughout the game. The capsules can also be lost to enemies with the ability to steal items, such as [[Crow]]s, [[Gorilla]]s, [[Seagull]]s and [[Oh-Mook]]s.

====Guts Capsule====

Guts Capsules will permanently increase a character's [[Status#Guts|guts]]. One can be found in the [[Gold Mine]] guarded by a [[Guardian Digger]].

====IQ Capsule====

IQ Capsules will permanently increase a character's [[Status#IQ|IQ]]. Their locations are: the Southern-Eastmost room in [[Belch's Factory]], the [[Gold Mine]] guarded by a [[Guardian Digger]], the second floor of the [[Dungeon Man]] (when exiting for the first time), in [[Deep Darkness]] by the bird where the [[Photo Man]] appears and in [[Stonehenge Base]].

====Luck Capsule====

Luck Capsules will permanently increase a character's [[Status#Luck|luck]]. One is located in the center portion of [[Peaceful Rest Valley]], and another in the [[Gold Mine]].

====Speed Capsule====

Speed Capsules will permanently increase a character's [[Status#Speed|speed]]. They are located in the [[Pyramid]], [[Stonehenge Base]] and [[Fire Spring]]

====Vital Capsule====

Vital Capsules will permanently increase a character's [[Status#vitality|vitality]]. One is located in the Northern-Westmost room in [[Belch's Factory]] and another in the [[Monotoli Building]].
