Onett Police Station Twoson |
A Cop is a member of the police station. In EarthBound, they appear as an enemy as well. They first appear when Ness goes out of Giant's Step cave, but aren't battled until Ness goes to the police station. The police chief will send him into a room, where five are supposed to be fought, but one decides not to at the last minute. They attack Ness by simply using a regular attack and a crushing chop. If defeated, rather being said to become tame, the game says that they were turned back to normal. The controlled cops appear to be very arrogant, claiming that they are more powerful than a superhero. One also calls Ness a fat boy. They are led by Captain Strong. They can be encountered later in Twoson as a regular enemy, and they can be battled alongside two Runaway Dogs.
