Instant Revitalizing Devices (Japanese: インスタントエナジーマシン Instant Energy Machine) are machines in EarthBound and Mother 3. When used, they restore HP, PP, and status ailments.
In EarthBound
Instant Revitalizing Devices in EarthBound only appear in a few locations, most notably in Dr. Andonuts' lab and in Dungeon Man. Using the check command on them will activate them. They are one of the few methods other than hospitals to restore consciousness to a fallen or diamondized party member.
In Mother 3
In Mother 3, Instant Revitalizing Devices are much more common, now sporting a pig nose shaped mark on them. They can generally be found anywhere that the Pigmask Army is based, however, they can occasionally appear elsewhere, such as on the Highway. They serve a similar purpose to the Hot springs found elsewhere, but are slightly faster.
