Your Sanctuary
The eight sanctuaries in EarthBound plays a vital in Ness's journey to defeat Giygas. By collecting the melodies via the Sound Stone and defeating the bosses at each of them, the Earth's powers may be combined to defeat Giygas. They are similar to the Seven Needles from Mother 3 and Eight Melodies from Mother. Each of the sanctuaries has a boss and a melody.
