The '''Gang Zombie''' is an enemy present in [[EarthBound Beginnings]], found only in the [[South Cemetery]] near [[Podunk]]. It's the toughest enemy in the area, due to its powerful Smash attack. Visually, it resembles a stereotypical member of a criminal gang whom has become a zombie. The enemy is dressed in a hat, a coat and a pair of pants, which all are colored brown; it does also have red shoes and a shirt underneath the coat. It can only appear alone in battle.

*In the Japanese version of the game, the Gang Zombie has bloodstains on its shirt and lacks a tie, which is what replaces the stains in the unreleased English version and [[Mother 1+2]] version due to the blood being considered too violent.
