+It is based on the various floating eye enemies from the Magicant of [[EarthBound Beginnings]] being the [[Watcher]], [[Dadseyes]], [[Momseyes]], [[Foureyes]], and [[Groucho]], all of whom are respectively called the Swoosh, Papa Swoosh, Swooshette, Woosh Swoosh, and Bonus Swoosh in the Famicom version. The Electro Swoosh's "greeting" Ness is also similar to how a Groucho says hello before it walks away. Oddly, the Player's Guide states that using [[PSI Freeze]] against it is effective but neither [[Paula]] or [[Poo]] can legitimately go to Magicant.
