Shouldn't the Swear Words and Words of Love technically be battle items? Miles (talk) 09:31, 30 May 2011 (MDT)

I don't think so but it's up to you guys. Technically the ruler can be used in battle too so I threw the words together with it. Multus 15:01, 30 May 2011 (MDT)

Friendship Ring and Time Machine

Pretty sure these went unused, even in the Japanese version. I didn't see them on my playthrough of the Japanese version, either... Multus 12:33, 5 June 2011 (MDT)

I do frankly not have a clue about the actual in-game circumstances concerning this, but the Mother Encyclopedia seems to indicate that they exist. And just to have it clarified, you did play the original Famicom version, right? Because then, it's very odd. I've also noted some other different things based on the encyclopedia; like that Aluminum Bats, Bombs, Super Bombs, Laser Beams, and Plasma Beams are supposedly unpurchasable in the Famicom version, something which could use some in-game checking. We should really try to clear up all of the differences between the Japanese and English versions, as it seems to be quite a lot of them, and what we currently know is kinda hazy. In response to the Famicom thing, yes I have played the original... but my save state folder got lost when I changed from Windows XP to Windows 7... meaning if I am going to confirm anything, I'd have to start the game over. Shouldn't take long to just get to Thanksgiving for the Time Machine, but I might explode from the sheer terror of not having a run button~! Multus 05:37, 6 June 2011 (MDT)
I'm up for trying a thorough playthrough of the Famicom version if you need someone who can read Japanese, lol. (I've been meaning to try it out sometime, anyway...) →Tinā δ 12:13, 6 June 2011 (MDT)
Apparently, saves from the prototype are compatible with the Famicom version's saves. All it needs is a reset afterwords and the game functions normally after that(albeit with glitchy names). So as long as I know where to get the items it shouldn't be a problem to test them out anymore. Multus 16:05, 19 July 2011 (EDT)

The translation for the time machine event

In response to Tina's translation
Wow that was quick. It's pretty neat, I wonder why it was dummied out... I want to try and hack the event data to work in the prototype and see if it's translated in that version, now... I have the table's location in the ROM written down somewhere, but now I have the event data from the Japanese version as well, so, unless they relocated it, I might be able to get it to work in the EB0 ROM if you give me a bit to look around. Can't guarantee anything, though... Multus 11:03, 6 June 2011 (MDT)

The Real Rocket has the same dialogue as the Time Machine, looking at it, so it's technically translated. It would be interesting if the event data itself was kept, though. →Tinā δ 12:13, 6 June 2011 (MDT)
Ugh... it looks like they either removed or relocated the data... either that or the data was reformatted. The text associated with it is just a garbled mess. So no cool Time Machine in EB0. Bummer :P Multus 12:25, 6 June 2011 (MDT)
