This is an enemy infobox for Mother 3. Because Mother and Earthbound have different stats and different ways of handling PSI effectiveness, this template cannot be used for enemies exclusive to those two games.

The parameters in order and in detail:

  • enname = The enemy's name in the Mother 3 fan translation
  • jpkana = Japanese kana in Mother 3
  • jptrans = Japanese translation of the name (not the transliteration! the translation)
  • overworld = Their overworld sprite. Just put in the filename and their filetype (filename.type)
  • image = In-battle sprite
  • HP = Max amount of HP
  • PP = Max amount of PP
  • offense = Their offense stat
  • defense = Their defense stat
  • speed = Their speed stat
  • guts = Their guts stat
  • fire = The amount of damage PK Fire will do, with 100 being normal, lower numbers meaning less damage, and higher numbers meaning more damage
  • freeze = The amount of damage PK Freeze will do, with 100 being normal, lower numbers meaning less damage, and higher numbers meaning more damage
  • thunder = The amount of damage PK Thunder will do, with 100 being normal, lower numbers meaning less damage, and higher numbers meaning more damage
  • bomb = The amount of damage bombs will do, with 100 being normal, lower numbers meaning less damage, and higher numbers meaning more damage
  • freezable = The chance of PK Freeze solidifying, with 100 being normal, lower numbers meaning less of a chance, and higher numbers meaning more of a chance
  • flammable = The chance of PK Fire burning, with 100 being normal, lower numbers meaning less of a chance, and higher numbers meaning more of a chance
  • paralysis = The chance of Paralysis succeeding.
  • crying = The chance of moves with crying effects (ex: Duster's Smoke Bomb) succeeding.
  • brainshock = The chance of Brainshock succeeding.
  • hypnosis = The chance of Hypnosis succeeding.
  • exp = The amount of exp. the enemy will give after defeated.
  • money = The amount of money (DP) the enemy will give after defeated.
  • item = If the enemy can drop an item, specify it here. If it does not, leave this field and itempercent out.
  • itempercent = If 'item' is filled in, then specify the chance of obtaining the present after battle here. Mother 3 decides item percentages out of 100, so it'll be just a normal percent.
  • song = The battle song used when the enemy is the lead enemy in battle. Be sure to check against the Sound Player -- many enemies have similar but not identical battle songs.
  • location = Locations in which the enemy appears in. Remember to put in link brackets ([[ ]]) for this! If they appear in more than one location, separate the locations with breaks (<br/>).
  • origin = Where they were made. Usually the Chimera Lab.
  • level = Their level.
  • relatives = Variations of an enemy.
  • affiliation = Who made it or who an enemy serves.
