Everdred is a character in EarthBound. He was first seen sitting on a house near the rummage sales in Twoson. If Ness comes near him, he'll jump off the house and fight him. He can steal items from Ness, knit his brow, use a biting attack, and regularly attack. After fighting him, he will reveal Paula's location to Ness. Everdred is the boss of Burglin Park and twisted his ankle when he jumped of the house.
After rescuing Paula, he forces Ness to take a large sum of money for saving her, saying that he "can't keep this money anyway", implying that he probably got it through illegal means.
He later reappears in Fourside on the ground next to Jackie's Café, severely injured, and informs Ness of the Mani-Mani Statue and hints at a way to get to Moonside.
