Giant Step is a location in EarthBound, being the first of the sanctuaries, with its boss being Titanic Ant. It is found to the north of Onett, blocked off by a locked shack. In order to reach the sanctuary, Ness rids the streets of the city from the Sharks. As thanks, Ness is given the key to the shack by the mayor of Onett. Exiting through the broken back wall of the shack leads to the cave entrance.
