Lloyd is a boy from Merrysville. Ninten first meets him in Twinkle Elementary School, hiding in a trash can from the other kids. He is said to be weak and is picked on frequently by the other kids. Lloyd joins Ninten on his adventure after Ninten gets him a Bottle Rocket from Sweet Little's Factory. He can use a variety of exclusive items, such as different bombs, flamethrowers, and laser beams. He also clears the path for the train station by detonating a couple rockets from Duncan's Factory, allowing him and Ninten to continue on their journey.

Later, while progressing through the swamp to Ellay, the party briefly meets Lloyd's father hiding in a trash can. Lloyd's father asks for the player's name if they didn't input it on their visit in Snowman.
