Mother 2: Giygas Strikes Back (Japanese: to be added), not to be confused with EarthBound's Japanese title, is a novel released exclusively in Japan which is based on the plot of EarthBound. It was written by Saori Kumi, covering the entire plot of the game with some modifications to character and plot elements.
