Pokey (alternatively Porky) is Ness's neighbor, making his debut in EarthBound. Pokey first consults Ness when he is requesting his help to find his little brother. Ness brings his dog with him to help. Every time Ness must fight something, Pokey will apologize or do something else, such as using Ness as a shield, showing his cowardly personality. Pokey, along with his brother, are then punished when they go back home. Pokey later reappears as the main antagonist in Mother 3 and was chosen to stay as "Porky" in the fan translation, due to a large amount of pig-related puns involving him. Template:Enemies
