Pokey is Ness's neighbor, making his debut in EarthBound. Pokey first consults Ness when he is requesting his help to find his little brother. Ness brings his dog with him to help. Every time Ness must fight something, Pokey will apologize or do something else, such as using Ness as a shield, showing his cowardly personality. Pokey, along with his brother, are then punished when they go back home. Pokey later appears in Mother 3, now named Porky, as the main antagonist. Template:Enemies
