Titanic Ant is the first Sanctuary Boss in EarthBound. It guards the first Your Sanctuary location in the game, Giant Step. The Titanic Ant resembles both a Black Antoid and a Gigantic Ant. When it is encountered by Ness, Titanic Ant is accompanied by two Black Antoids. Its attacks incude a biting attack, which can pretty damaging at times. Its speial attacks include Defense Down α to lower Ness's defense and Shield α to cast a physical shield, and also an annoying PSI Magnet α to drain your HP. After being defeated, Titanic Ant yeilds 685 exp. and drops $150.
