(→Trivia: Removed trivia that went off the false notion the removed battle backgrounds were 100% for some unused boss, and also made the bit about Earthbound more general for the entire game. Think a cut content section in the page could be nice, but as is it was an odd piece of trivia) |
m (→Story: Also needs a cleanup, if I ever have time I can get to these too but tagging them for whoever wants to help which is appreciated) |

{{cleanup|Too long, unnecessary details can be moved onto the relevant chapter pages and several images can be added to make the section less plain}} | |||
Unlike the first two games, the focus is no longer on a group of children. Lucas is the only child protagonist in the game, although Kumatora appears to be a teenager. Some chapters put completely different characters in the protagonist role. In one chapter the player controls Flint, a strange middle-aged cowboy and Lucas's father, another has a limping thief named Duster, and in another chapter the main character is Salsa, a monkey who is constantly suffering abuse by a rich traveling merchant named Fassad. Halfway through the game is when the finalized team is used: Lucas is the leader, followed by the tomboyish Kumatora, Duster, and finally Lucas's dog Boney. | Unlike the first two games, the focus is no longer on a group of children.
